Vista icon size

OK, I’m starting to wonder how much Microsoft knows about me. Why am I wondering? The default desktop icon size in Vista is frickin’ HUGE. I thought maybe they had heard how tired I am of cleaning my glasses and were trying to help by making the desktop icons frickin’ HUGE.

It’s plenty easy to change though, so maybe the default size didn’t have anything to do with me after all.

Just right-click on some empty desktop, select View and choose Classic Icons:

If three sizes isn’t quite enough choice for you there’s another way, too. Hold down the CTRL key and roll the scroll wheel on your mouse. Practically an infinite range of icon sizes.
