Backup to Email

Neat solution to backing up important files from your PC to your GMail account.

Get the software here. Download the file and run the executable.

Configure with your GMail account info.

Backup to Email config screen

Right click any file file to backup by sending it to your GMail account as an attachment.

Select file

Success!

Success

When I went to open the attachment from the GMail message, GMail had added an MP3 extension to the file name (probably because it was an .EXE file.) I downloaded the file and renamed it and everything worked fine.

I also sent a .ZIP file and and Word document and they both worked fine without the .MP3 extension.

Works great.
