Like most people, you know Mercury only passes in front of the Sun every 12 years or so. The real question here is “How can I view this event safely?” The Exploratorium tells all in the link below.

    The Exploratorium’s great! I’m going to visit it again next time I’m in San Francisco. That, and the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. Oh, and the museum of automatons.
